The Process of Leveling and Applying Egaline
1. Substrate Inspection: We begin with a thorough inspection of the existing substrate to determine what preparations are needed. This includes identifying any irregularities, cracks, and other imperfections.
2. Substrate Preparation: Before applying leveling compound, we clean the surface and remove any dust, dirt, or loose particles. This ensures better adhesion of the leveling compound to the substrate.
3. Applying leveling compound: Leveling compound, a self-leveling compound, is applied to the prepared substrate. This material spreads evenly and fills in imperfections, creating a smooth and level base.

A flat, but not 100% level subfloor: Applying leveling compound creates a flat subfloor, but it doesn't make the floor 100% level. Current techniques can't guarantee this yet. The screed may still have slight height variations.
